After the last few years we have gone through a lot. A pandemic, financial challenges, personal challenges to name just a few. If you have been single or going through a relationship break-up you may be feeling battered and bruised and in need of a bit of TLC.
I know my anxiety levels have been higher than normal and I have been praying every morning while I have been in bed that the Lord would see me through this day and protect me and provide for me. He always does, for which I am thankful.
If you are a forty plus single you have had to face the challenges without a partner by your side, so like me I hope you have been sharing your anxiety with your Lord.
I have recently joined 121Christiandating.com to meet other Christian singles and I have found that meeting singles is easy and convenient. I just need to find someone who would put up with and enjoy my naughty little dog, who I acquired during the lockdown.
My dogs name is Rupert and to say that he is naughty is an understatement. Rupert is very lively as he is just over a year old and he is a small Yorkie so he also very full of himself or should I say he is confident. Some would say he is a nuisance.
Whatever he is, he is a great companion for me but I do miss having a lovely single person in my life, that I can actually speak to and who will consider my conversation and reply. So a single man who listens, is that possible I wonder? The word that I read today was to be strong and courageous. Which was just what I needed at the time. As we are called upon to take life with a courageous strength. I felt weak and tired but the Lord presence in my life gave me the strength that I needed to face the day. Just that word and His presence enable me to get out of bed to face the new day with a smile on my face and a lighter step. Of course a great cup of coffee was also welcome. I had the strength and the courage that I needed.
it would be nice to share my life with a single Christian by my side and that is why i have joined 121Christiandating.com but until that day comes I will trust that The lord has it all in hand and I just need to trust Him, as He has a plan and a purpose for my life.
He gives me the strength and the courage that I need, to cope with life and also the challenges that Rupert sends my way.
PRAYER: Lord, what a joy it is to be able to move forward knowing that You are with me. Your presence in my life brings with it the strength and courage that I need to do what You want me to do. Amen.
