The sermon that I listened to on Sunday was about being together. Togetherness has become very important over the last few years as we have realised what isolation feels like. Many Christian singles know that having common interests and beliefs is vital to happiness and security in a relationship.

‘He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others.’ When we are together and are close to others we can comfort and support each other when we are feeling lonely and sad. I was sent a lovely word from a person who is very close to me in my life and I would like to share it now. When you feel like you are drowning, don’t worry your lifeguard walks on water. This sharing by someone who is close to me is an example of togetherness. Finding another single who shares your desires and relates to your lifestyle can change your life. The Lord uses what we go through so that we can be a comfort to others. When we discover HIS comfort, we know how to give comfort.

PRAYER: Lord, thank You for the way in which You have been with me along my journey of life. Thank You for the way in which You have comforted and helped me. May I be a blessing and a comfort to others. Amen.
